As someone deeply embedded in the local queer DIY and arts scenes, I decided to put together and promote a monthly arts newsletter featuring underground and fringe musicians, artists, writers, and game developers from the DMV and beyond. We have a dedicated national audience, with +65% open rates. I have helped with the website development, copywriting and editing, newsletter design, graphic design elements (including making fake ads amd designing merchandise), and even contributed my own writing pieces to the publication.
